About Michelle
Michelle Ratti has been teaching at Brookewood since 2014 (with a gap year in Italy). This year, she teaches anatomy & physiology and biology to upper school students and natural history to 5th grade students. She is a graduate of University of Notre Dame, where she received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry, and she is also a graduate of The Catholic University of America where she received a master’s degree in philosophy. She has previously taught high school girls at Oakcrest and at the Academy of the Holy Cross. She enjoys both the more rigorous academic work with upper school students and the adventurous scientific work with younger students. She and her husband, Stefano, live in Kensington with their three boys who have all recently graduated from The Avalon School.
