College Counseling

The College Counseling Office works with students and parents to find colleges where our graduates will not just be accepted into, but will flourish at. The office also coordinates visits from colleges to Brookewood and assists in the application process, providing guidance on recommendations, essay-writing, interviewing, etc.
OUR COUNSELORS Brookewood's executive director Mr. R.J. Hawley, rjhawley@brookewood.org, directs the college counseling program at Brookewood. He has worked as a college counselor in three independent schools in both the U.S. and Europe. Mr. David Booz, dbooz@brookewood.org, joins the college counseling team, providing guidance to our seniors. Mrs. Glencora Pipkin, gpipkin@brookewood.org, rounds out the team as a counselor and registrar for Brookewood's seniors. |
During their senior year, students work with college counselors to pick the universities best suited to their goals and needs. Brookewood School uses SCOIR as the software to connect students to pertinent information about prospective colleges.
