About Michela
Michela Donohue joined Brookewood in the winter of 2023 after volunteering in the front office with Helen Williams for one year. Michela is the Editor of the Brookewood Biz and The Avalon Advisory, the International Student Coordinator, Assistant College Counselor, and Registrar.
Michela received a BA in Political Science and Italian from Fordham University in The Bronx, NY and an MA in International Service from The American University in Washington, D.C. Michela worked as a marketing professional in the publishing industry for many years, including at Montgomery County's own Phillips Publishing Inc. and United Communications Group. She took a break from working outside the home to raise her three children. Michela volunteered at her children's school, Our Lady of Lourdes, for 15 years. She spent four of these years as Assistant Director of Development and Alumni Relations.
Michela and her husband, Brian, live in Kensington, MD and share three children: Sofia, Patrick, and Isabella (Brookewood Class of 2026).
