About Donatella
Donatella has been teaching Italian (her native language) and advanced mathematics (one of her passions) at Brookewood since 2009. Donatella is a native of Brescia, Italy. She received a master’s degree in mathematics from the Università Cattolica di Brescia and a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Università degli Studi di Milano. After receiving her PhD, she spent one year at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a visiting scientist, where she met her husband Steve. Donatella and Steve have six children who all attended Brookewood and Avalon. Besides math, Donatella loves reading, cooking, hiking, and hanging out with family and friends.
