About Donatella
Donatella has been teaching Italian (her native language) and advanced Mathematics (one of her passions) at Brookewood since 2009. Donatella is a native of Brescia, Italy. She received a master’s degree in Mathematics from the Università Cattolica di Brescia and a Ph. D. in Applied Mathematics from the Università degli Studi di Milano. After receiving her Ph. D., she spent one year at MIT as a visiting scientist. That is where she met her husband Steve and how she ended up in the USA. Donatella and Steve have six children who all attended Brookewood and Avalon. Besides Math, Donatella loves reading, cooking, hiking, and hanging out with family and friends.
