About Christiana
Christiana Rakow earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor’s of Science in International Business, both from the University of Maryland. Ms. Rakow was an analyst for John’s Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where she evaluated the accuracy of the Trident II submarine navigation system. She was a docent for the Goddard Space Flight Center Visitor’s Center in Greenbelt Maryland where she attended briefings on current NASA events and provided a general overview of NASA to the public. Ms. Rakow has three daughters, two of whom graduated from Brookewood and an eleventh grade Brookewoodian. Currently, Ms. Rakow teaches chemistry, physics, algebra II and precalculus.
