About Barbara
Barbara Gagliotti is a founding teacher at Brookewood School and currently teaches various classes in Middle and Upper School History. She has been involved in the education of youth and young adults for over 20 years and has held a number of teaching and administrative positions including founding Chair of the History and Religion Departments at Brookewood School, Chair of the History Department at Bishop McNamara High School, and Coordinator of Youth Ministry Programs for the Archdiocese of Washington. Barbara is a Certified High School Religion Teacher in the Archdiocese of Washington. She is a native of New York where she received an undergraduate degree from Pace University in Economics with a concentration in History and a master’s degree in Non-Profit Administration from New York University. She has taken courses in Catholic theology, Church History and Sacred Scripture at Franciscan University in Steubenville and has lectured and written on subjects of interest to Catholic education and spirituality.
